Today we will pick you up at your hotel in Bangkok at 8:00 am and drive north for about 60 kilometers. Our first destination will be Bang Pa-In, a former summer palace of the royal family. This magnificent palace served as the king's summer residence until the late 1990s. This is followed by a leisurely small boat ride in one of the traditional Thai longtail boats. Enjoy the wonderful natural scenery on the Chaophraya River to Ayuthaya.
Arriving in Ayuthaya, we take a sightseeing tour of the city, which is worth seeing. It was the last capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Among other things, we visit the imposing historical temples of Wat Phanan Choen, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, and Wat Ratchaburana.
Now we drive on through the wildly romantic central plain to the city of Lopburi, which is also known as the city of monkeys. Right in the center, at an old Hindu shrine, hundreds of these animals live. The monkeys, who like to steal food or even cigarettes from passers-by, are tolerated here and characterize the cityscape of Monkey City. A spectacle of a very special kind.
In the city of Lopburi we also visit the historical Khmer temple Wat Prang Sam Yodh. The monumental building is located on a hill in the center of the old town. Here, too, many monkeys climb around the building.
We then continue through the magnificent rice plains towards Uthai Thani, the capital of the province of the same name, where you will spend the night. After checking in at the hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Uthai Than.

The tour continues at around 8:30 a.m. From Uthai Thani we drive towards Nakhon Sawan. Just east of the city is the vast swamp area of ​​Bungboraphet. Here we visit an interesting aquarium where most of the animals native to the swamp area can be observed up close.
The journey continues through the rice plains to the town of Phitsanuloke. Here we visit the historic temple of Wat Mahathat. This imposing temple complex is still actively used by believers and believers from all over Thailand come here to pay homage to the impressive Buddha figure. Incidentally, there are also numerous palm readers and fortune tellers sitting in front of the temple who can interpret the future for you.
After another hour's drive we reach the city of Sukhothai. It was the first capital of the former kingdom of Siam, around the 13th/14th Century. Here you will visit the most important temple complexes such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri Sawai.
The huge facilities can either be explored on foot. If you wish, your tour guide can also rent bicycles for you. There are hardly any cars on the park-like grounds, but it's a nice change with a bike.

Enjoy the scenery and beautiful nature on the way to Lampang. Very close to Lampang is the beautiful temple Wat Phratat Lampang Luang, which is a temple complex typical of northern Thailand. A lot of teak was used in the construction. The walled Wat Phratat Lampang Luang is situated on a hilltop offering a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
