Hoi An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colorful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda. On this Hoi An shore excursion, you will have chance to explore this charming town with lots of memories.

1. How far from port to Hoian City?
The cruise port that serves Hoi An Vietnam is Tien Sa Port situated in Danang City which is some 35km away and Chan May Port situated at Binh An village, Loc Vinh Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province, some 70km to the north. 

2. Weather in Hoi An city?
Unlike Northern Vietnam, Hoi An is a city of two seasons with warm weather averaging 29°C dominating for most of the year. The wet monsoon season spans the months from September through to January with a dry season for the rest of the year. Most days temperatures average between 25°C and 30°C with the hottest months being June and July.

DETAILS FOR HOIAN TOUR:

You are welcomed and picked up by our private guide by the ship in Chan May port about 72km ~1.5 hours (If you are arriving at Tien Sa port, please request different quote). Transfer to Hoi An ancient town.
On arrival in Ho An, explore Hoi An charming town, a famous trading port in Southeast Asia centuries ago that was well-preserved and awarded as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, tile-roof-covered bridge that was built in the early 17th century by a Japanese traders community. Enter ancient houses dating way back to the 15th Century – superbly combining parts of Japanese and Chinese  with Vietnamese structure. Explore different beautifully designed Historical Chinese Meeting Halls. Watch the talented artwork of handicraft making at a local workshop.
Return to the port and visit Marble Mountains and Cham Sculpture Museum in Danang, and drive over Hai Van Pass (Cloudy Pass) back to the port. Arrive to the ship at least one hour before the departure time. End of the Hoi An shore excursion.
