ITINERARY:
During this half-day city tour you will visit the most beautiful temples in the capital. Among others the magnificent Wat Trimitr, the impressive Wat Pho and the enchanting Wat Arun.

At 8.00 am you will meet our tour guide in the lobby of your hotel in Bangkok, who will take you on a beautiful temple tour of the capital. The first stop will be the well-known Wat Trimitr, which you will arrive at around 9:00 am. The temple, located on the edge of Chinatown, is particularly famous for its magnificent Golden Buddha, one of the largest statues of its kind in the world. With a height of around 3 meters and a weight of 5.5 tons, this colossus is particularly impressive because it consists of around 83% gold. The Golden Buddha dates back to the 13th century and was built in the time of King Ramkhamhaeng.
The tour continues to Wat Pho, the temple with the gigantic reclining Buddha. Unlike the Golden Buddha, which was cast in almost pure gold, this figurine is sculpted from plaster and brick and covered with several layers of gold leaf. The incredible 45 meter long statue in the western part of the complex is one of the main attractions in Bangkok and is world famous. Wat Pho is also a world-renowned center for traditional Thai massage training.
At the end of the excursion, you will finally visit the enchanting Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, at around 11:00 a.m. One of Bangkok's most iconic landmarks, this extraordinarily beautiful temple is particularly enchanting because the entire complex is covered in a huge mosaic of colorful shards of Asian porcelain and glass. In total, the facade consists of a million parts, which are decorated in pretty floral designs.
After this visit, you will return to your hotel, which you will reach around 12:00 p.m.
