CLASSIC BANGKOK HIGHLIGHTS WITH CANAL TOUR

Around 8:30 AM, your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Bangkok. The first stop will be the well-known Wat Trimitr, which you will arrive at around 9:00 am. The temple, located on the edge of Chinatown, is particularly famous for its magnificent Golden Buddha. Which is one of the largest statues of its kind in the world. With a height of around 3 meters and a weight of 5.5 tons, this colossus is particularly impressive because it consists of around 83% gold. The Golden Buddha dates back to the 13th century and was made during the reign of King Ramkhamhaeng. On the grounds of Wat Trimitr you can also find out about the adjoining district of Chinatown, which is impressively presented in the integrated Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center. The journey continues through this Chinatown and the adjacent beautiful flower market. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique flair and the authentic atmosphere.
Next you will visit the magnificent Royal Palace or Grand Palace, which extends over an impressive area of around 69 hectares and is a symbol of the "City of Angels" just like the Eiffel Tower belongs to Paris. The complex, which is well worth seeing, includes the royal palace and the magnificent temple Wat Phra Kaeo, which together form a beautiful ensemble. For most visitors to Thailand, this attraction is at the top of the list of must-see attractions in Bangkok. Here, marvel at the legendary Emerald Buddha and visit the Reception Hall, the Royal Guest House and the Obituary Hall
Then visit the legendary Wat Pho, the temple with the gigantic reclining Buddha. Unlike the Golden Buddha, which was cast in almost pure gold, this figurine is sculpted from plaster and brick and covered with several layers of gold leaf. The incredible 45 meters long and 14 meters wide statue in the western part of the complex is one of the main attractions in Bangkok and is world famous. Wat Pho is also a world-renowned center for training in traditional Thai massage and acupressure courses are also offered here.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Drive to a pier on the Chaophaya River and take a small boat ride through the canals of Thonburi, Bangkok's sister city.
The boat then takes you to the enchanting Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. This extraordinarily beautiful temple is also one of Bangkok's landmarks and is particularly enchanting because the entire complex is covered with a huge mosaic of colorful Asian porcelain and glass shards. Overall, the facade consists of millions of small parts that are assembled into pretty floral designs. According to the story, King Rama III called. during the construction of this temple the people of the country to deliver every piece of their broken china to support the completion of the monument.
Return by car to your hotel where you will arrive around 5 p.m.
